Today we had our kick-off assembly for the Rosemont Winter Carnaval.  Float winners were announced and celebrated.  The floats were amazing, with over 40 entries.  Division Two students in Grade 5/6 have created stations for the fun on Wednesday, and presented them to the student body.  Songs were sung in French and PomPom, our Rosemont Carnaval made an appearance.  Students received an effigy from last year’s Quebec Winter Carnaval to wear on their jacket zipper and many are excited to add this to their collection. 

We are all hoping for warmer temperatures and a bright sun for Wednesday.  We plan to be outside if the temperature is warmer than -20.  Please ensure your child is dressed for success, with proper attire and footwear.  Alternative plans are ready if we must remain inside.
