School Planning Survey for 2023/24

Parent input on school planning is an important way to share your thoughts and ideas on what is valuable for you and your child for the next school year. Please complete the following survey using the link here to share your thoughts. The survey will be open from March 4–22, 2024. We will also discuss parents' ideas at our next school council meeting.

School Development Plan

Each year, our school prepares a development plan with input from teachers, school staff, students, and parents. We review many sources of data, including report cards, provincial achievement test results and school surveys. Based on this information, we create our plan identifying targeted areas for growth. Our school development plan is not meant to represent all the work that takes place in our school, but rather it focuses on specific areas for improvement. It is located on our school website under the heading “About Us” or “Our School.”

Please view our Rosemont School Development Plan for the 2023-2024 school year.

Book Fair

We are excited to announce our annual School Book Fair! It will be taking place on:

March 12-15: Student preview/ wish list creation

March 18-21: Student only sale from 1:00pm-4:00pm each day

March 21: Families will be able to join from 4:30pm-7:30pm

March 22: Families will be able to join from 8:00am-11:30am

LEGO Donations

The school is asking for families to donate any LEGO that they are no longer using. LEGO is a great way to support students' creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. LEGO’s are not only fun but also educational, as they can help students learn about math, engineering, and design concepts.

School Council News

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Thursday, March 7. The next meeting is Thursday, April 11, 2024, in-person at the school. We hope to see you all there!
