 Absences

We ask that you notify the school office as your first point of contact at 403-777-6230 extension 1. You may also inform the classroom teacher if you would like, as this helps keep everyone informed.

Weather Update

With the warmer temperatures (which we are enjoying!), there are some slippery conditions on our school field and compound. Please take care when walking and remember to walk like a penguin on icy surfaces.

Please ensure your child has proper indoor shoes that can be left at school. Students are required to take off their boots at their door and carry them to class, where they can put on dry shoes for the day. Indoor shoes make it easier to participate in physical education in the gymnasium and keeps our school floors dry and clean.

Some students benefit from additional socks or clothing after a fun recess. Consider packing additional clothing to keep in your child’s backpack.

School Update | School Development Plan (SDP)

Each year, our school prepares a development plan with input from teachers, school staff, students, and parents. We review many sources of data, including report cards, provincial achievement test results, and school surveys. Based on this information, we create our plan identifying targeted areas for growth. Our school development plan is not meant to represent all the work that takes place in our school, but rather it focuses on specific areas for improvement.
