Rosemont Reminder | Oct. 13-16, 2026

Monday, October 19 – Non-Instructional Day – No School for Students

Just a reminder that Monday, October 19 is a Non-Instructional Day, which means no school for students on this day.

Playground Supervision

Playground supervision is provided from 9:00-9:10 AM and during lunchtime.

Supervision is not provided after 3:50 PM. Students who remain on the playground after this time are assumed to have parental permission and are responsible for their own safety.

Extra Set of Clothing Reminder

As the weather changes and children continue to enjoy outdoor learning and play, we kindly ask all families to send an extra set of clothing in their child's backpack. Having a spare shirt, pants, underwear, and socks at school, helps ensure students remain comfortable in the event of an accident, spills, mud, puddles, or wet weather during outdoor activities. Please place the clothing in a labeled zipper bag and update the items throughout the year as your child grows and the seasons change. Thank you for helping us keep students comfortable, confident, and ready to learn throughout the day!

Start of the Year Online Forms – Now overdue!

Each year, schools have a variety of forms that parents / legal guardians are required to complete or review and update. At the Calgary Board of Education (CBE), the forms in an online format are:

  • Demographic Verification - 2026-2027 – This form includes your child’s personal information as well as parent / legal guardian contact information.
  • Citizenship Information Update - 2026-2027 – This form becomes available if you change your child’s citizenship information on the Demographic Verification form.
  • Annual Authorization – 2026-2027 –There are 2 consents to be completed.
  • Annual Volunteer Registration Form - 2026-2027 - To ensure the safety and security of CBE students and staff, all volunteers must be registered with the school each school year before participating in volunteer activities. Please note: police clearances are good for 5 years; however, the Annual Volunteer Registration form must be completed each year.
