Veterans Food Bank Collection | November 2–27

At Rosemont School, we believe in “Strength in Community.”

From November 2–27, we invite families to donate non-perishable food items to support the Veterans Food Bank and give back to our veteran community.

As a UNESCO school, we explore the question, “How do we live in a good way?” This initiative helps students put compassion, gratitude, and responsibility into action by caring for others in our community.

As we gather for our Remembrance Day assembly on November 10, students will learn about and honour the service and sacrifices of veterans.

Every donation, big or small, can make a difference.

Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Sound Kreations Residency | November 2–6

Get ready to dance around the world!

From November 2–6, Rosemont students will participate in a whole-school Sound Kreations residency, exploring Hip-Hop, Latin dance, and Afrobeats.

Through music and movement, students will celebrate cultural diversity, empathy, and community.

We look forward to welcoming families to our student performances!

Kindergarten Performance | Thursday, November 5

Our Kindergarten students will perform for fellow students and Kindergarten parents.

Performance Time: 9:30 AM
Doors Open: 9:20 AM

Grades 1–6 Performance | Friday, November 6

Families are invited to our whole-school performance featuring students in Grades 1–6.

Performance Time: 12:00 PM
Doors Open: 11:45 AM

Please arrive early to be seated, as performances will begin promptly.

Student Pick-Up Following Performances

If you plan to take your child home following a performance, please email both the school office and your child's teacher in advance.

Students who are not being picked up early will remain at school and follow their regular dismissal routine.

We look forward to sharing what our students have been learning during their Sound Kreations residency!

Personal Items | Please Keep Them at Home

Please help your child keep personal toys and special belongings at home unless requested by their teacher or included in an agreed-upon student support plan.

Examples include:

  • Pokémon cards
  • Toy cars
  • Stuffed animals
  • Other personal toys and special belongings

These items can distract from learning and may become lost, damaged, or a source of disagreements.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping maintain a positive learning environment.
