Outstanding School Fees
The 2024-25 school year fees are now due! To prevent your account from going into arrears and being sent out for collection, please login to your MyCBE parent account to review your child's outstanding school fees and make a payment. Alternatively, please visit the school to make a payment with your debit or credit card. Please note that cash and cheques are no longer accepted. More information about the CBE School Fees can be located at https://cbe.ab.ca/registration/fees-and-waivers/Pages/default.aspx.
Are You Concerned That You Cannot Afford to Pay School Fees? Apply for a Central Fee Waiver!
No child is ever denied access to an education at the Calgary Board of Education due to their family’s inability to pay. The CBE offers a Central Fee Waiver which is based upon income level and covers the following centrals fees: Yellow School Bus Transportation, Lunch Supervision Service Fee and Student Supplies Fee. Please log in to your MyCBE parent account to complete the 2024-25 Central Fee Waiver Application. More information about the Central Fee Waiver can be located at https://cbe.ab.ca/registration/fees-and-waivers/Pages/Waivers.aspx.
My 1st Ride Registration is Open
On May 24 & 25, the CBE and its partners are offering the My 1st Ride bus orientation program. This free event is designed to familiarize students with the experience of taking the yellow bus to and from school. The orientation is aimed at first-time riders and students with special transportation needs. For more information and for registration click here.

School Council Information
Our next School Council meeting is Tuesday, May 27, 2025. We hope to see you all there!
Rosemont School Casino - May 9 & 10!
Thanks to all who have already signed up to help at the casino on May 9 and 10. So far we have 15 volunteers signed up. There are 18 more spots that we need to fill.
This is an important fundraiser for the school. Our school is given one 2-day casino assignment every 18 months. In those two day we raise significant funds for the students and the school. We raised $80,844 at our last two-day casino spot. Those funds go a long way.
With the funds raised through this volunteer effort, RSC/RFS have been able to fund many activities at Rosemont School including the following, which our kids would not otherwise have had the opportunity to experience, and these opportunities are made available to our students without any cost to families:
- Residencies
 - Upgrades to the Learning Commons
 - Swimming
 - Mathletics and Generation Genius Subscriptions
 - Evergreen Theatre
 - Open Minds
 - Field trips at no cost to parents

Unlike many of our volunteer activities, you don’t need your police clearance to volunteer at this event. You don’t need to be a parent or guardian - participation from friends, relatives and community members is welcome. If you’ve been thinking about volunteering with the school before, this is a great opportunity.
Please click on the link below to view the online sign-up sheet and, if you’re able to help, sign up for one the remaining shifts. It’s important we continue to have access to this fundraising opportunity. We have to fill all spots to meet our commitment. We’re hopeful we can have all slots filled by April 30. Thanks in advance for your help!
