Rosemont Reminders Feb. 12-16 | Kindness, Winter Carnival, School Development Plan, Teachers' Convention, Pink Shirt Day, Newcomer Settlement, School Council
UNESCO Initiative - Kindness
Ask your child about all the messages on our "Great Wall of Kindness." The students have been doing an amazing job recognizing each other and all the kindness happening in our building.
Rosemont Winter Carnaval
The Carnaval was a HUGE success! Thank you to our older students who planned and led the engaging, fun, and creative stations. What great role models. Also, thank you to our amazing volunteers who came out to support the event.
School Development Plan
Each year, our school prepares a development plan with input from teachers, school staff, students, and parents. We review many sources of data, including report cards, provincial achievement test results and school surveys. Based on this information, we create our plan identifying targeted areas for growth. Our school development plan is not meant to represent all the work that takes place in our school, but rather it focuses on specific areas for improvement. Please to view our click here school year. It is located on our school website under the heading “Our School” under the “Resources” section.
Teachers' Convention
There will be NO SCHOOL for ALL students due to the Teachers' Convention happening on Thursday, February 15 and Friday, February 16.
Pink Shirt Day
Please join by wearing a PINK shirt on Wednesday, February 28! The focus of this day is to remind students of the importance of working together and treating others with dignity and respect.
