Rosemont Reminders Jan. 8-12 | Welcome Back, Weather, UNESCO, Fun Lunches and Snacks, Volunteers Needed, School Council
Welcome Back!
Welcome back, Rosemont community! We hope you had a joyful winter break filled with warmth and laughter. As we kick off the new year, exciting learning adventures await our students. Stay tuned for updates and highlights in the upcoming Rosemont Reminders. Let us make 2024 a year of growth and success together!
Weather
DRESS WARM - As the wintry weather sets in, please ensure your child is dressed warmly for school. Layering is key, along with hats, gloves, and a protective layer for their faces.
UNESCO Focus
This month our UNESCO focus will be LITERACY to support Family Literacy Day on January 27th. We are in the process of planning a fun family event. There will be more information sent out on School Messenger.
Upcoming Fun Snack and Fun Lunches
New Option Now Available: "Donate A Lunch" for $5 and "Donate A Snack" for $2 have been added to all fun lunches and snacks starting in January thru May 2024 (except for the free snack in April). If you would like to Donate a Lunch or Snack to a student who may otherwise not be able to participate in this school council initiative, please go into your child(s) Healthy Hunger account and choose the option to donate $2 or $5. Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity!
Volunteers Needed
The months ahead our students will have opportunities to go on field trips. These can only happen if we have parent volunteers to support our classes during these events. Swimming lessons are coming in February and April. If you have not signed up to be a volunteer, please call the school office and speak with Ms. Taylor to begin the process 403-777-6230 (ext. 0)
