We are excited to announce our picture day for this year will be on Tuesday, October 3. Bring your smiles!

Safety Reminder

Safety is important to our community. Please remember that we do not have supervision in the morning until 8:55. Your child(ren) will not be supervised if they arrive earlier. Just a reminder that we do have a flexible entry and the doors open at 9:05 to provide time for your child to prepare for the day. Our instruction begins at 9:10.

Conferences

Respecting the privacy of our students and families is a top priority. If you want to talk with your child’s teacher, please be respectful of others and their time and book a 1:1 chat. The best way to contact your child's teacher is through email. If you do not know the teacher's email address, it will be hyperlinked on our webpage under staff list by the end of this week. We will be having one-to-one conferences November 23- 24 to share updates with you at that time.

Lunch Supervision

If your child stays at the school during lunch, you must be registered in Lunch Supervision. To register log on to your MyCBE account. Rosemont School is a 4 day a week program. If you are unable to pay school fees, including Noon Supervision, you may qualify for a waiver, no child is ever denied access to an education in the CBE (Calgary Board of Education).

School Council

The first School Council meeting for this school year will be held on October 17 at 6:30pm. Meetings will be in person at the school and babysitting will not be provided. It was wonderful to see so many parents at our school during school orientations. We had many parents in the learning commons in between sessions participating in an informal session on what the School Council looks like at Rosemont. We are looking forward to seeing you at our meeting in October!
