Rosemont Reminders Oct. 30 - Nov. 3 | Staffing, Busing, Weather, Pumpkin Patch, Donations, School Council
Staffing Update
We are excited to announce that Angela Klassen will be joining our Rosemont Team. Ms. Klassen brings with her a wealth of experience and knowledge. She will be supporting our learning spaces with Literacy.
It brings us great joy to extend a warm welcome back to Rebecca Jones on November 2, 2023. She will be returning to her role as the Assistant Principal.
Sherry Goldenberg will be leaving us November 2. We have valued our time working alongside such a talented, dedicated, and supportive educator.
Bussed Students
For those students who take the bus to and from school, James, the bus driver, would like parents to know that he will be away from Nov 2-16 and that there will be a relief bus driver during this time. Please check MyBusStop for any information regarding the school bus.
Parents/Guardians can track their child’s bus. Information is found using your MyCBE Account using the following link: MyBusStop App Quick Start Guide
Weather Conditions
It is that time of the year. We need to be prepared for changing weather conditions. Please ensure your child is ready for all weather conditions (boots, mitts, hat, snow pants, jacket, etc.) If you are a family that requires support to access these items, please contact the school office.
Rosemont’s Pumpkin Patch is back this year!
If your family has carved or decorated a pumpkin at home and would like to share it with the school community, you can bring it to the naturalization space (front of the school) between 8:50-9:05 am on October 31.
Reminder that there is no supervision until 9:05, so you are responsible for your child before then. The classes will do a gallery walk through the pumpkin patch throughout the day and appreciate all the unique designs and participate in fun learning tasks.
Please pick up your pumpkins at the end of the day!
Donations
We are reaching out to ask for your support in our ongoing efforts to enhance experiences for our students and families. We kindly request your support in providing the following items:
- Packaged healthy snacks for example, granola bars, apple sauce pouches
