Rosemont is Running for Terry
Our Terry Fox Run was a success. Thank you to all the student leaders in Grade 4/5 who worked to promote Terry's Dream through the campaign and with our assembly. Thank you to the School Council for providing a much appreciated snack and to all our awesome volunteers.
Students took on the challenge of running the kilometers Terry was unable to run in his Marathon of Hope. Students took on running at recess, lunch and during gym classes to bridge the distance between Thunder Bay (Terry’s stopping point) and his destination (Victoria).
It’s not too late to donate for our Terry Fox School event. So far, we’ve raised $375.00. Let’s pull together and see if we can pull together for this year’s special 45th anniversary of Terry’s Marathon of Hope.

We look forward to reporting the Toonies for Terry totals soon!
Battery Recycling Challenge
We are excited that our school will be participating in the Earth Rangers Battery Blitz sponsored by Recycle Your Batteries, Canada!
Our School Mission is to collect as many used batteries as you can by encouraging students, parents, staff, and community members to bring them into your school and deposit them in the Recycle Your Batteries, Canada.
We are hoping we will have the opportunity to continue this challenge so please continue to collect your batteries until further notice.
The top schools in our province that collect the most batteries (by weight) will win cash prizes.
