Rosemont Reminders Sept. 11-15 | Busing, School Messages, Fees, Lunch, Medication, Fees, Forms, Absences, and More

Dear Rosemont School families,

What a wonderful start of the 2023-2024 school year! Students were excited to come back to school, especially to see their friends and to learn who their new teachers were. Our new students are settling in and are starting to make connections already! The staff who are new to us are incredibly positive and thrilled to be at Rosemont – especially your new administration team of Principal, Acting Assistant Principal, and Learning Leader. The energy in the school is amazing! It is wonderful to see the profound sense of community that is characteristic of Rosemont School.

We are looking forward to a wonderful year with plenty of opportunities to create new memories and friendships. These weekly Admin Messages are a terrific way to stay up to date on events and information that impacts your student’s time here with us. Please continue to read the message for important information regarding our school year. We will be posting this on our website and encourage all parents to read our school website for important messages from the school and from the CBE News Centre. Rosemont School (cbe.ab.ca)

Terry Fox Spirit is Alive at Rosemont

The excitement is building around our Terry Fox School Run on the morning of September 20 in our beautiful school yard.  Families are welcome to volunteer to run with the students and teachers.  Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like to volunteer and you have an up to date police clearance in place.

Donations to the Terry Fox Foundation can be made for our school online at https://schools.terryfox.ca/Rosemont . A tax receipt is issued for amounts over $20.  We are also collecting ‘Toonies for Terry” in our classrooms until the day of the run.

Please take time to check out the campaign posters, photos and t-shirts in our hallways during our Open House on September 21st. Cash donations can be left in the office that night.
