School Orientation Night – Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who came out on Thursday evening for our School Orientation Night! Your presence and engagement made the event a wonderful success. It was fantastic to connect with so many of you, share our plans for the year, and celebrate the start of a new school year together.
Rosemont is Running for Terry | Oct. 2
It’s the 45th anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. We are super excited to take part! Students from Grade 4/5 have volunteered to be our Terry Fox Run committee and have begun a campaign to increase awareness in our school. This campaign includes our annual ‘Toonies for Terry’ collection. Students are invited to bring in toonies over the next few weeks, up until our run at Confederation Park on October 2. If you would like to support our student’s fundraising and receive a tax receipt, please donate at: https://schools.terryfox.ca/Rosemont
Volunteers are needed to help supervise the run route. Please sign up using this link.

Utensils
This is a friendly reminder to please send utensils with your child for school lunches. Having their own forks, spoons, and knives will help ensure they can enjoy their meals comfortably. We do not have any utensils to share at the office.
Orange Shirt Day – Friday, September 26
Please join us in wearing orange on Friday, September 26. Students will spend time learning about the history of the residential school system and will honour Indigenous people in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on Monday, September 30.
