REMINDER- Scooter/Bike Important Update- Locks Required

We would like to remind everyone that for the safety of all students, riding bikes, skateboards, and scooters on school grounds during school hours is not permitted. This policy helps prevent accidents and ensures a safe environment for everyone during school hours as they arrive and leave at the end of the day.

Please remind your child that they need to walk their bike or scooter once they reach the school premises (bottom of the hill). We appreciate your support in reinforcing this important safety measure.

Due to the overwhelming number of scooters in our hallways, we are asking that if your child rides their scooter to school, a tire lock is required so that they can lock it up at the bike locks at the front of the school.

Terry Fox Run – THANK YOU!

A big Rosemont shout out to all students, families and staff who participated in our Terry Fox Run on Wednesday, September 25.  Our community and school spirit filled the fresh warm air as we ran through Confederation Park. Our toonies for Terry campaign raised a total of $2,452.20 for Cancer Research through the Terry Fox Foundation.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our School Council meeting last Tuesday. Our next meeting will be October 15, 2024.

Rosemont Family Volunteer Sign Up Sheet

Family involvement within the school is necessary to help support our teachers, students, and to maintain the culture we have at Rosemont.  This can include assisting in the classroom, going on a field trip or participating in fundraising activities throughout the year.

If you are interested in giving time to the school, in any capacity, please complete this form as soon as possible with the following information.

Please note that volunteers are required to have a current police information check to volunteer for school activities and in the classroom. Further information about obtaining volunteer clearance can be found at the end of this form.
