Connecting with the School Staff

We appreciate your understanding that the start of the school day is a very busy time. During morning arrival, office staff are focused on supporting student safety and daily operations, which can make it challenging to respond to parent requests immediately.

Please note that teachers and administration are engaged in instruction throughout the day and may not be able to check or respond to emails right away. If you would like to meet with a staff member, please email or call the school office to schedule a meeting time.

Valentine’s Day

As we reach the midpoint of the school year, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. We will be taking a low-key approach, focusing on friendship, belonging, and kindness.

Teachers will make connections to curriculum and learning appropriate to each grade level. If students choose to bring Valentine’s cards, we ask that they are prepared for all classmates to ensure no one is left out.

Please do not send candy, food treats, or gifts.

School Update | School Development Plan (SDP)

Each year, our school develops a School Development Plan with input from teachers, staff, students, and parents. We review multiple data sources, including report cards, provincial achievement test results, and school surveys.

Based on this information, we identify targeted areas for growth. The SDP highlights specific areas for improvement and does not represent all of the work happening within our school.

Report Cards

  • Tuesday, February 24 – Report cards will be viewable through your MyCBE account.

Paper copies will not be sent home.

If you have questions about the content of your child’s report card, please contact your child’s teacher. For access-related questions, please contact the school office at 403-777-6230 during regular business hours.

Kindergarten Families:
February report cards will include progress indicators and comments for ELAL and Math only. Progress in all subject areas will be shared in June.

School Council & Fundraising Society Update
