Student Assessment and Reporting
It’s that time of year again when families receive written feedback regarding their child’s progress at school. Report cards will be viewable online beginning Tuesday, February 24, 2026.
Report cards are one of several ways teachers communicate student progress, along with formal processes such as parent-teacher conferences. Teachers also communicate student achievement informally through email, phone calls, and face-to-face conversations.
Taken together, ongoing communication is vital to ensuring student success. It helps students and families build an understanding of individual achievement over the reporting period, so the information shared in the report card is both expected and easily understood.
If you have questions or comments about your child’s progress or information contained in their report card, please connect with your child’s teacher. Our next round of school conferences will occur on March 19 and 20, 2026.
Viewing Report Cards
Families can view online report cards on February 24, 2026 using their MyCBE parent account. Report cards can also be downloaded and printed at home.
For best access to information, log in to the MyCBE portal instead of using the PowerSchool app. If you need assistance, please refer to the MyCBE Student and Parent/Legal Guardian Account Sign-in – Kindergarten to Grade 9 video for guidance on signing in, navigating the portal, and toggling between multiple children.
Report Card Comment Structure
To provide clarity, conciseness, and consistency when communicating assessment information, all report card comments include areas of strength and areas for growth in bullet form.
Each comment includes four elements:

- Success criteria
Please review the proficiency descriptors below and how they align with indicators 1–4.
